    Tube Amps use more power, and throw off more heat too, but it’s all worth it.

    Have you ever seen Solid State Amp with a volume control that could go to 11?

    depends on the amp.
    most tube amps draw more power because you are running tube filaments.

    as for are tubes better than solid state.. I’ve worked with pro audio gear and 99% or people can not tell the difference between tube and MOS FET.

    You can make a dial go to 100 if you want, just change the dial skirt!!!
