Use a power supply strong enough to power the Amp you need to use to power the Sub. Try Maplin.

If the amp has a 20 amp fuse then you need a supply that can provide upto 20 amps of current. Look for a computer supply that puts out at least 20 amps at 12VDC.

well if really want to you can use a dry sell batt and just put it on charger once you are done. optima and efx are such brands. these are sealed maitenance free batts but is a bit pricey. what i seggest is that you get a inverter you simply plug it into your wall socket and the output will be around 12-14 volts make sure you get a good quality one with enought juice for your needs. PSU that is a intresting one that ive never seen but sounds like a proposal but IF it works might look a bit messy. the reason why i say if is cos the power will be a switching current. but give it a go u never know. brands coolermaster antec cant remember any other at the moment.
note that a psu will put out around 12 v not sure on the ampage but a car should put out around 14v and minimum 60amps
