    You have a typo in your question, all three right channels play normal a very ???? volume, what’s the word that’s missing?, it would help.

    On the older units if your speaker wires touch, it can damage the output power transistors for that one side, it may have happened.

    I doubt if it is just dust in the windings of the volume control, although that can cause static. Usually that happens in both channels.

    The output power transistor is usually easy to get to, and are not that expensive. It may be worth your while to fix it if you have a buddy good with a soldering iron. I have fixed a couple by replacing just that one component, and I’m not really a “tech”.
