    Tube Amps Rocks!
    they can provide a sound level that cannot be duplicated by transistors. the smaller the devices get, the less space is used for data=poor sound quality. Newer is not always better.

    Tube amplifiers have a history in old technology and current tube designs are improvements on that both in parts and design. The sound they produce tend to have a warmer sound. the cost for a good tube amplifier can be rather expensive, and one has to weigh the cost/performance verses other amplifier designs.

    yeah, go the solid state option, valves are dead. Cheaper, more reliable, more efficient, not fragile, no dangerous voltages, easier to repair, the list goes on. Just make sure you get one with a decent power supply, too many amps these days are built with crap power supplies. And the source you are using to playback through the amp is no doubt a digital format anyway, which really negates many of the warmth arguments that exist in the first place.

    Audiophiles prefer tube amps, they say they sound better. Companies still make them to fill that niche market like these guys:

    compare the prices and you will see…
    Tube Amps are best quality and not yet noting can replace them
